I've been quoted prices ranging from about $1800-$3800 just for the registration on top of the shipping. If your experience is different, could you share more detailed info?

Im waiting for a call back from a friend of mine that might be able to cut our prices down a little, as far as 'americanizing' them goes. It will be legit (i know you were wondering) theres just loopholes.

well, good news so far! I just got off the phone with somebody from the office of the Sect of Transportation. Somebody is calling me tomorrow to put me in touch with someone in Wash DC who controls federal regulations on importing, safety and emissions. It seems Pennsylvania likes the idea so far. They said the challenge was the feds and if I get past them, they don't anticipate a problem.
So, they are getting the ball rolling for me to set up an import dealership.

Thats awesome. So what are we looking at here? Did you decide to scrap the whole Skyline idea? Sticking with the old EVOs?

skylines are still on the table. the least expensive one I saw was like a 92 for about $6k. The most expensive was $49k.....and that's my price so don't be looking for any bargains!

There are a range of evos from 94 to present. There are also VR4 galants, legnums, mirages, gto s, fto s....lots of cars, lots of variety.

right now, I'll probably get the mitsus, nissans and suburus, all awd turbos. These are all RHD so I am thinking of switching them to LHD. I will probably have them parted and then reassemble them here. If this all comes together, I'll also be ordering a bunch of evo engines and drivetrains. parts are parts.

we'll see what the fed says.
