Does Anyone have any idea of how to import cars to the united states..
IM wanting a skiline or supra and you can find great prices on them all day long but then you run into problems with shipping them to the us...
PM me email me or w.e if anyone knows how i would love to have some info

The only other way I know of really is something about owning the car for so many years then you can legally ship it or something... I dunno importing is such a touchy thing nowadays..

www.j-garage.com they got sum cars for ya, n they can help you wit the importing. Theres another site juss for skylines but I 4got the address

The actual shipping isn't what's expensive it's the taxes and crap you have to go through to register it in the US.

You have to have it de tuned and up to snuff with US emmissons. They aren't expensive to import, its all the stuff that needs to be done to it after it hits US soil.

Motorex is the importer for Skylines. You would be hard pressed to get one through customs on your own. The glass needs to be DOT approved, the emissions need improved, it needs to have a VIN assigned. It is really quite hard to import a skyline since it was never sold in the states. (if it was easy, don't you think there would be more running around)
