So I rented this on a whim... it wasnt as bad as all that. Thougha lot of the "races" looked to me as if they were done at about 15mph and the film was sped up, (I think I saw a bird hit close to light speed in one shot.) The story wasnt bad... though it was dubbed... badly. Anybody else catch this one?
BTW, it was a relief to me when they popped the hood on some of the few EVOs in the movie to see a 4g63t. NICE.

No, they made a live action movie version of it too now... I liked the anime much better...

 

...though the comic itself was still better...
