Well we finally got the lift and started installing it yesterday. Hopefully by the end of today it will be ready to have cars on it. Here is a cell phone teaser pic.

10K lbs lift capacity and its a foot taller than the shops ceiling

 

Ya mike, I was surprised how fast it went up, we finished around 1am. Now the worst part, clean up! As for the lift, the ceilings are 11' and the lift is 12'. Not a big deal, the only car we have to worry about, if he doesn't sell it soon is mikes juice box evo.

dude that is sweet... and nice on the ceiling being too short haha, is that a drop ceiling and you just removed the tiles or did you literally have to a cut a hole in it and cut the joists out?

 

He had to cut the drywall out and then cut the joists. Luckely the ceiling in the garage is only made with 2x4's and thin straping. So that made it easier for them to do it.
