Default Lexus IS 350 Engine: Performance, Reliability, and Maintenance Questions

Hi everyone,

I’m considering buying a Lexus IS 350 and wanted to get some insights about its engine. How reliable is the 3.5L V6 over long-term use? I’ve read mixed reviews about maintenance costs and potential issues. Are there any common problems I should watch for?

Also, how does the engine perform in terms of acceleration and fuel efficiency in real-world driving?

Are there any modifications or maintenance tips you’d recommend to keep it running smoothly?

Any firsthand experiences or advice from current IS 350 owners would be greatly appreciated!
