Default Locking question?

What is the point in locking the posts for the new guys.... What, we can't say hi to the guys when they show up first thing?

Yeah basically the new member section was getting out of hand so I lock all new threads sometime after midnight every night. That way we can say hi and get on our way instead of cluttering up the new member section with OT stuff (Speaking of which this thread will be getting repositioned there where it's a bit more appropriate. Just doing my job)

Hey man. Don't be hatin'! *knocks chest twice*

And nothing is the deal with me. Just always loved cars and wanted to learn more, so I started hanging out here. When you don't know that much, you can't really contribute anywhere...so I just decided to keep the newbs company. Now I go around to various threads and help in the minor, various ways that I can.

dude, ya gotta chill i read your post in the New Member section.
I have yet to meet someone on here who is a total a$$. Everyone i've worked with, even if they don't like something about my car (erm Emonz and the Clear Tailys) they're always cool about it.

Chill bro, it's all good in this forum

Lol thanks, Poot. My knight in shining red taillights.

Still think the clear ones looked better, but that's just me. You'll have less hassle from cops with the red ones anyway.
