Default This may seem strange...

Me and my freinds from school are entering into a competition to build and race a concrete canoe. Yes you heard me right...a CONCRETE canoe. Here is he link to the pictures. Let me knnow what you guys think

Dude you're a demento.... LOL But it is theoretically possible. Think about it. They make ships made of STEEL which is JUST as prone to sinking as concrete...

Dude don't forget to SEAL THE BOAT really good... If not water will end up seeping through....

ya i heard about them concrete canoes when i took a campus visit to U of toledo last summer. its kinda cool to think that somethin that heavy but that small will still float

believe me sang i know alot about this ****. We have designed a concrete mix that will be alot lighter than your usual concrete. Also it should have a strength of about 2-3K psi. Also the air voids in it are very low so no water will be able to seap through. In the rules you cant put any type of sealant on the concrete. But it should be interesting. We are puting the concrete on it on sunday and concrete has a 26 day period to let it cure so all we can do after that is wait

guys watch me float in my boat made of sinkable concrete lol. I want to see that float that is crazy.... do you get to keep it? we should take it somewhere and really go in so water to goof off hahhaha
