The guy was charged with wreckless driving and fleeing the scene. He caused the accident because he was pissed that I slowed down. And there is a HUGE difference between my old 3g and my 3s, SOHC vs DOHC and the eclipse was an auto. An extra 100hp+ with a manual beats the eclipse, although I REALLY liked the look of my Eclipse.

what are you talking about 100HP???? they are the same car munus the DOHC and a few 100LBS and they are 180 degrees oppossed. they run the same 1/4 times on average. the auto is slightly slower but even still. I just dont get the 100HP since the 3000GT NA is 220HP and the 3G v6 is 205. Was your car a GS\RS? that would make some sense

Your car was gorgeous. Did you ever get the rims off it?

Ur right Emonz, I had the wrong numbers in my head when I posted. I was thinkin the 3G had around 120hp, dunno why because I knew it was 205 stock. My 3s was dyno'd at 247 bout 2 months ago so there isn't much difference.

Sebba: I actually did take the rims/tires off before the insurance company towed it from my driveway They were only used for a week, now they sit in the garage.

That car only had 43,000 miles on it when it was towed away.

At stock the engine puts out around 220hp, ur thinkin of the SOHC from '97 up. The vr4 puts out around 320hp stock.

Hell if I know lol, the Ford dealership in town just got a dyno in June of 06 and they tested it for me, I don't know how they tested it although all the dyno machines i see online have the drums that the tires go on. The car was modded when I bought it so it's not completely stock.

There is a difference between crank and wheel HP. Your car is prob 247 at the crank now. Because to the wheels your only looking at about 180-190 with your mods. Did you ever see the GT eclipse Dynos they are all around 170WHP to the ground and with headers intake and exhaust they get up in the 190s.

Your car is NOT 247 WHP they prob used something that is similar to the G tech that just guesses at it and it is based on the motor not to the tires
