Its not right I know for a fact. unless he has headers and N2o he wont get 247 on the ground right now. that is crank HP which still is not all that bad.

At stock the engine puts out around 220hp, ur thinkin of the SOHC from '97 up. The vr4 puts out around 320hp stock.
no im not thinking about the sohc...your car would prolly put down 160 to the WHEELS not the crank...222 to the crank is what you have....and the 1st gen vr-4 had 300hp to the crank and the 2nd gen vr-4 had 320hp to the crank, this is due to a slight add of boost. I know alot about 3/s's and the SOHC had 160 to the crank and proll bout 110 to the wheels.

you mean 147 i hope^ couse even a vr-4 only runs about 230awhp stock. i would bet on your NA running 150-160fwhp.
There is a difference between crank and wheel HP. Your car is prob 247 at the crank now. Because to the wheels your only looking at about 180-190 with your mods. Did you ever see the GT eclipse Dynos they are all around 170WHP to the ground and with headers intake and exhaust they get up in the 190s.

Your car is NOT 247 WHP they prob used something that is similar to the G tech that just guesses at it and it is based on the motor not to the tires
why the **** did you quote me? its not my car lol...what i said was correct....and ive seen a 3g v6 with headers, intake, exhaust run on the dyno...it ran about 160fwhp

My bad, i figured 'hp' was the same no matter where it was on the car hehe. That seems like a lot of wasted power if ya only get 160 to the wheels if ur engine is pushin 240. So, hp is the engine and when ur talkin bout what you 'actually get' it's whp?

yes whp is what actually matters...there is roughly a 28% decrease from crank hp to wheel hp generally...this is important so remember it lol.

Chill the F out man I kno you know. I just quoted you trying to agree with what you were saying. and yes depending on auto of 5spd and cali spec or fed spec the 3G GTwill make 160-185 HP with those mods
