I agree... unles you can get a deal on it, it's really not worth it. like TheEngineer said you are getting a heavier car for an extra gear... and the 6 speed gear ratio isn't as good as the 5 speed anyways. Basicaly you only get to say " i have an MR "

yep yep, that's what i want to end up getting when i get some $$$ in the bank again here in about a year or so. i was basically done w/ the evo idea until yesterday i drove my friends (intake, turbo back exhaust, mbc) evo viii from the gym to my house and was just freakin LOVING it!!!

 

Not considering performance potential, I'd have to say the STi.

What exactly is a Spec. B?

 

Spec B is the performance version of the Subaru Legacy. I believe its the americanized version of the b4-RSK

 

Oh, OK, you guys are so JDM...don't they just call it the Legacy GT?

If you want to avoid the "boy racer" look, I'd go with the Legacy. Nicer interior, subtle body upgrades all in all a nice looking sedan.

According to Subaru's site, the Spec B is just an option package for the Legacy GT. There doesn't appear to be much difference in the two though.

Hey yea, youre right... Im a dumbass... lol.. In which case the b4-RSK is nothing like the Spec-B. Its just an option pkg. Its not even all I thought it was... ****ty... damn... Thnx Stealth...I like Legacys anyway though.

 

i didn't know what a spec b was either lol... i may go w/ the legacy also now that i know what the hell it is. nicer interior, more luxurious, but still comes AWD and tc'd. what's the price tag on one of those things?
