Any brands i should DEFINATELY go with or DEFINATELY stay away from?

 

i have some BOSCH platinum plugs, expencive but good, Denso and NGK are good too

 

everyone on ehre hates BOSCH. Stay away from em.

Well since we have a 300ZX thread here now just figured I'd dump in here my friend and mine's new toys .
She just bought an '86 300 ZX N/A a week or so ago. Picked it up for $950 in a rather fine shape. Little rust and a small lighting problem but otherwise good to go.

And I just bought tonight an '83 280 ZX(T). In line 6 turbo charged. Needs a new head gasket but still running right now. It's a 2+2 model with T Tops and good seals all around. a good amount of rust on the hood but that's easily replaceable.

Sorry to threadjack but I had to post my new toy in here. I'll post pics later after I get a chance to take them (I'll even have it next to my 'Quest so people won't think I'm BSin). And grand total for the 280 ZX WITH a new head gasket, and a SOLID u nderbody (Undercoated before being shipped to the US so this one's frame and body haven't rusted out)? Try $300. And NO I'm not a 0 short I DID say $300. It also has Polk audio speakers all aorund, and I can't remember what the headunit is but it IS aftermarket.

 

nice find i got my 280Z for like $600....but on older cars BOSCH is bet on newer cars NGK are best.....

 

I throw the BS flag. I run NGK's over Bosch ANY day in my Conquest. Currently running NGK's now for that matter.
