Well all I have to say is I hope you all learned your lesson. Learn by brain or learn by pain. I don't street race at all and if you aren't doin anything wrong then there's NEVER a reason to run from the cops and if you ARE doin somethin you shouldn't be and you DO run then you got exactly what you deserved. Call me harsh but I won't own anything that will be considered a ricer anymore since I will automatically be pegged as one of you fast and furious fools. I'm surprised you didn't mention anything about your NOS kickin in and the welds on the intake manifold blowin.

When you learn to respect the laws, the roads, and the other people on them THEN maybe I'll listen to the whining about a stupid accident. Until then I'm only glad you survived because I pray you learned something and pass it on to your "buddies". But if they all do stupid shyt like that then I hope you have the brains to find some friends with some common sense and an idea of how physics work.

Be more careful in the future, and like emonz said, pick your races right (this does not mean race in the streets, residential areas or hairpin roads)
Anything you need friend, 4 hours away hahaha (imperialvalley)

KEEP YOUR DAMN RACIN TO THE DRAG STRIPS AND THERE WON'T BE THESE KINDA PROBLEMS!

Well I thank all you for you comments, advice, and opinions. But like I said " Adrenalines One Powerful Drug" and as much as I'd hate to say it... Im addicted. I'll try and find other ways of fueling it but theres no guarantees.

again i say, for this reason is why i dont street race any of my personal vehicles on the street. The "scene" has changed alot since my day.

Nevertheless, hopefully you learn from this expirience, and realise that adrenaline rushes aren't worth your car, and a trip to the hospital.

glad your ok though

Gus

I speak from experience here when I say that a drag strip will givejust as much of an adrenal rush as any street race and it's a HELL of alot more legal. I have no respect adrenal junkie or not for someone that street races and causes accidents. How about THIS little story to show WHY I HATE street racers:

A friend of mine, both his brothers, and one of their girlfriends were heading home after wrestling practice at the high school. My friend was riding shotgun his brother driving the gf in the middle. The other brother and another friend were in the back. 3 lane road (1 lane each direction) and they get behind a slower moving truck. He's driving an old 80's Buick. He goes to pass the truck in a passing zone when the truck decides he wants to race. They both speed down the road till a car turned suddenly onto the road going the opposite direction. With no time to react the brother had NO chance to drop back and cut in behind the truck the only option available was to go offroad to the left. There was a ditch over there and when he hit the ditch the car flipped twice. Only the 2 in the back were wearing their seat belts. The driver was thrown from the vehicle and killed upon impact. The gf was found 4 hours later in the corn feild across the street. They didn't even know she was in the car. My friend was trapped in the passenger's seat. The gf got off lucky. She ended up with a shattered disc in her back and a broken hip. Hip bone was removed from her to replace the shattered disc. My friend to this day is in a wheel chair crippled from waist down. He was the school football star and wrestling champ before this accident. The 2 in the back were scarred emotionally. The truck drove off and didn't even slow when the accident started and was never caught or identified.

THIS is why someone that street races is no better than a common criminal in my eyes. Especially when doing things as stupid as what you described in the first post.
