Default My old Evo 411

Ok guys so Aaron added a hi flow cat and then went to DSG in Norwood Ma for some real tuning now. Keep in mind the dyno there is a low reading dyno so overall I am pretty shocked for what I was running it at. So the first run on wastgate pressure (14 PSI) the car only made 250WHP

Ok on boost setting A where I thought I was at 22PSI it was only holding 20. on that setting the first base run make ONLY 310WHP. So think about this. I ran a 12.3 at 114.6 with tires spinning off the line and lazy shifts AND I was running the boost slightly lower because the install was just done and i was not used to the TruBoost, SO I was prob under 300 to the wheels.

Now on the new tune on the same boost 20PSI hold they made 370WHP on their dyno which is about right. on other dynos would be slightly more than 400. So a 60WHP on a tune only.

That car will hit 11s even with lazy driving

also re thinking about it. I would race Johns MR2 and put like 5 car at least on him and I was barly more than 310 to the wheels yet the car felt like it was HAULing too

I loved it. Simple to the eye. compaired to the massive units Greddy and HKS use. It is easy to use, has 2 boost settings A and B and then Off. Only issue I had with it was boost spike is high. On the 20PSI setting it was peak spike at like 24psi or so. Which isnt a big deal as it is only for a split second but when your trying to figure out what PSI your holding and the peak hold only shows your spike your like hmm. Another setting I really liked it the over boost alarm. I had mine set for 24PSI or higher (this does not count for the spike, only the boost that it holds firm) So any thing held 24 or over the LEDs around the gauge start flashing as a warning.

*Mine needs a boost controller badly.*

Damn good numbers though.

You should be proud of that car... even though its no longer yours.

i'm amazed that it was only at apx 300-320whp when you had it and it was that fast haha. you loser lol j/k. i wish you could have had it long enough to have it tuned w/ meth and hit some real numbers but then again... it could be a sign that you sold it this early (everything happens for a reason - reason for this? motor may go pop) lol
