Kid has had the car maybe for 4days.....and read what he has done to it.

Now let me fill you in on a few things. The car has a annoying warning system when ever the oil presser drops, coolant temp is to high. So this kid ignored that, kept driving. I told him it needed a fan relay, and if he was going to drive it to turn on the blower and have the A/C switch on (which makes the fans run constant). He didn't do that, and when ever you do a mod or fix something don'tyou watch or hear contently for something to go wrong! No this kid waits till the car stalls to look at his temp gauge. DUMB!

 

omg.. how old is this kid!? i mean seriously 4 days!! They said that those numbers were a record i think the amount of time he had itwas what set a record! sheesh! that's car is soooo hot too! I hope everything's ok!

 

That sucks, i hope the car isnt ****ed up to bad.

i know it sucks, but theirs no point in rediculing him, some people just honestly dont know anybetter. Your obviously wiser then that and would have assesed the situation but w.e It's not your car anymore, as well as problem. I understand what you're saying its just a sad state of affairs.....and it could have been avoided. As for the vette its sitting in my garage right now. I'll some pictures up soon, just have a nice rain storm running through.

 

what an *******......if i had it id check every detail under the hood and in the inside....if i knew where it all was....i studied mitsus alot and know (somewhat what goes where and the engines (4g63 etc) so yea...i can learn and take care of it (and hopfully NOT crash)

well now he has posted figuring that the coolant seals are gone .

 

sheesh, that is the reason i was hesitant to sell my eclipse... i just knew i was gonna end up giving it to some kid w/ no experience and either rev it up and beat the hell out of it or not change the oil for about 20k miles and screw it up.
