what happened to the rim?
I hit a nicely sized pothole ended up blowing out the front tire and I tried to avoid losing my rear tire so I swerved and the lip cought the brut of it for the rear..its only the lip so the thinest part of the wheel I would have been better off going straight threw it I guess

Ouch seems me and you have at least THAT much in common... I've killed a doughnut AND a regular rims one via pothole the other via curb. I nailed a pothole and just kept rolling I stopped at the Subway for dinner and heard the telltale hissing pumped the tire up and took off again. Get about 1/3 -1/2 of the way home and the ride got REALLY nasty started bouncin and grinding really bad. I said screw it that WAS the doughnut no spare to put on it. Kept goin shootin sparks and whatnot. Finally got home and the rim edges were sharper than my razor LOL... Needless to say I went and got a new tire put on my actual rim the next day LOL.

The bent rim was in a u turn. I merely ran outta road and clipped the front wheel on the curb. I wasn't going that fast but it was fast enough to bend the center section so that the wheel was back and forth... I put the whel on the balancer started spinning it and saw it wobbling back and forth... If I had let the balancer run it probably would have broke the thing LOL...

nice car! you can barely notice the rim, unless you were looking for it you probably wouldn't see it

Stick with 17's man... Smaller rim lighter weight, faster launch
