i just thought it was strange having a section where members can sell parts/buy parts but there isn't a feedback section...how are we supposed to know who is a good person to deal with and who'll just take our loot?

 

Maybe you should go to eBay if you want that kind of security... lol. This forum isn't DESIGNED for buying and selling parts, they just were kind enough to throw that section in for people that wanted to do it...

 

my bad...i just thought it might be like the other 6 sites/clubs that i belong to...you know,where other people actually care if someone gets ripped off and tries to make sure no one else does...

 

If you're that concerned about it contact the admin Patrick. He's the only person who would be able to make the change.

The feedback forum is a good thing to have and I'll be contacting Patrick about it myself. I never seen something like that before I was on the SQC forum. I am all for it though.

This makes a good point. Most ARE rip offs. Even the ones who get some good reviews or feedback can still rip you off. If you are buying something used from anyone anywhere you run the risk of getting ripped off. A few reviews of the person will not change anything. For example, eBay is the biggest buying and selling website on the internet today and people still get ripped off. Some users with almost a 100% positive rating from over 1000 sells have been kicked from the site. I've been part of more the 5 bids where eBay sent me an e-mail a few days later saying they were found to be a corrupt user and I should do what I can to keep my information away from them. The "peace of mind" you speak of is just being naive.

SO, in closing, I'm sorry for speaking it like it is and facing the reality of the world. You're right, I deserve to be put on P/A for this. It makes complete sense. I don't know what I was thinking.
