on a side note , all I know is I have a steady job that pays me ok, I do not get layed off nor will I as we are still bringing in new hires. I have a car that is hard to get a loan for that is a toy and I am getting by lol.

When it comes time to buy a house I just want it to be smooth going foward. Right now that could never happen for a 1st time buyer

I voted for Obama for a number of reasons, before I explain, I just want to make a few things clear.

If I was 10 years older, and a doctor (as I plan) then I would have voted for McCain, because I would be making a boat load of cash, and I don't want it to be taxed away.

I voted for Obama because:

a) The stress has caused Bush and Clinton for that matter to age SUPER fast, and this guy is already getting on in the years.

Well if you look at his family history his mother is over 90 years old and still alive...i really doubt he is gonna have any health issues to worry about over the next 4 years

b) Palin being president would be an absolute ****ing disaster. That woman can't tell her mouth from her *******.

I sorta agree on this one, i think as a vice president she would be very good at helping deal with budgets and fixing some of the budget cutbacks they will have to make since she has alot of experience in this area.

c) I like Obamas understanding of the situation in Iraq right now etc... I think just because McCain has been a POW for many years doesn't qualify him to make decisions on the topic. I think he has no clue what would be the best method of resolving the situation.

I really dont think that Obama has ANY CLUE about this. He has no history in the governement and has no understanding of what is going on...and if you think this statement is true then you may want to do some research on facts. There have already been a few instances where McCain has helped make decisions over there or voted over there Obama did not agree and these couple of times McCain was right.

Also i really HATE Obama's plan that he first laid out which was remove so many people every month and within 1 1/2 years everyone would be gone. First off they tried that in veitnam and guess what happened to the last couple groups....oh yea they all died. And once again i still believe leaving now is not the right thing to do, this is NOT a war to help this iraqi people better themselves. This war comes down to two things 1. Oil(obviously) 2. National Security. Thats it. You leave now we will not have the control we have again for over 20 years, gaurenteed, and i am willing to bet there would be another attack on american soil by that time.

And its not about McCain just being a POW, its about all the time he has served, he knows what its like to be those soldiers over there, and he knows what they are thinking and how they feel. Obama has NO CLUE.

d) I don't like his healthcare plan (or Obamas for that matter)

Obama's is far worse IMO. National healthcare is such a bad idea. You think its hard right now to get help in the ER....wait till this happens

e) Who here watched the debates? I watchedevery single one, and although there was the typical political game playing, I couldn't help but notice that McCain was totally unable to remain calm, and looked shifty. How can you want someone to lead that can't even have a political discussion? The guy was staring into space because he couldn't look at Obama, and that to me just says something about his character. (my main reason)

Lets talk about character then. How about the fact that everything that Obama initially stood for he has gone back on and totally changed his mind. First is the agreement with McCain to notuse private funding for the campaign...that didnt last long as Obama has now spent more than anyone ever. And then there is the whole church he belonged to, yea he disconnected from that place once people found out. Then nearing the end of the race all of a sudden he his a Pro-life person and not a pro-choice which he had claimed to be from the begining (which most democrats are BTW). Everything it seems this guy says he then changes his mind later. Obama is a damn good publicspeaker though, ill give you that

f) He chose that stupid ****ing VP only because he wanted to do exactly what Clinton did to get re elected. He wanted to appeal to the 'hockey moms'.

Cant really disagree with this one.

Doesnt matter now. Obama won McCain lost. gotta wait at least 4 years for your repulicans to have chance back in office but you can blame Bush for why the country clearly wanted nothing to do with another R this election
