yeah it's happened to me once, but i'll give this to Microsoft, I called, told them what happened, they sent me a box, and they sent me a brand new one, not so bad. Just hope it's not your hardrive... cause that would really suck.

 

well now they have an online form just for the 3 red rings. All i did was fill it out and they sent a confirmation saying that a box will be sent to my house

 

thats cool, other than that problem, i think the xbox is the best system. the wii is fun, and i haven't had much work with the ps3, though i'm getting one probably this weekend, the xbox still reigns.

 

80% dont fail no way. Ive seen way more problems from the sony PS3 than the 360 sebba just so you know. and trust me my job as weird as it sounds requires me to d some work with these things every day. alot of PS3s take a poop too. That said I had a small issue with my 360 however it wasnt the red lights. I hade a internal issue with the component cables the picture was coming on the TV watered out and drained of color. Ive had the same xbox since then for well over a year id say. and the other lasted me about a year and a half or so
