haha honestly i think if any 1 car is at the top it should be a 2g b/c that is what most of our members have and ask about... i'm not being a favorist here thats just my opinoin.

i think you are jumping ahead of yourself here lol we have to get approval from patrick first, then have one designed, then have patrick put it up. if you/yall really want to do this, get a poll together and then we can take it to patrick once somebdy has created one that everybody likes.

 

look if you guys go back to the old thread i believe there is a programming issue with it. Its not just one picture. Its a bunch of them, and patrick is not the one that changes it, he has to bring it to the IT people. And if i remember correcty there is a certian way it has to be made

do we have anyone here who is good with design programs? photo shop...etc?

i have no problem changing the header, so long as someone designs it...i think that we should try to include more models, but if we have a bunch of cars in the header, its going to look cluttered.

the problem is, like i mentioned before, that the header isnt one huge picture. i have no idea why it isnt just one huge picture, but it isnt. its actually comprised of a bunch of pictures. if you put your mouse pointer a bit to the right of the mitsubishi logo in the header, and click..holding the left mouse button down and slowly pan to the left, you will see how different parts of the header are highlighted...each little bit that highlights seperately is a different picture.

Changing it every month for ROTM is a bit much, but we could do what ive done at other sites, and run a ride of the year program, and the winner gets their vehicle in the header. cbrforum.com is one example of this, and that header was done by one of the members.

i am no great photoshopper, but ill see what i can come up with for an idea.

the problem is that unless someone else is GOOD at photoshop, i dont know what we will do...i dont know how good mine will look..but ill give it a shot...

i need some pictures of a 3000, and a nice 1st or 2nd gen...and maybe a nice galant. if anyone wants to give some input, my AIM name is QuickMirada

actually, maybe ill stick a picture of a 4th gen eclipse up there...in one of the small pictures...but i think that the big picture, for now, should be a 1st or 2nd gen...thoughts?
