i am in desperate need does anyone know what program i could use to make somethin like this? and if i could use photoshop 7.0 and if so HOW THE HELL DO I DO THAT?

There you go...there's hardly a load time for me with one large pic, but I can imagine it being slower for some.

I use MSPaint to resize it while still keeping it's original dimensions, just scaling it down.
Another thing you can do is to save it onto your computer and then upload it onto here. Like this....

This image is 1024x820 btw. I scaled it down to about 80%...or I took out 20% of it's original size.
The reason it stays that size that you have is because you linked it. Now if you hyperlinked it's thumb pic you would also have a pic the size of my uploaded one...just make sure to link the thumb or it will remain tiny, lol.

 

I love that MS paint feature. What i dont like about it is that you can only use %... not actual figures

 

Here's another thing you can do.
If the pic has a thumb pic use that to link the larger pic to. Tike this...

 

I think I see what you mean Sebz, I think. Another thing about the % is that you don't have to do them in any specific increments. You can do them in increments of one if you want, you just can't do them in fractions. You can also change the attributes from 1025x768 to 1000x700 if you wanted. The only thing about that is that the pic would really look bad because the borders would no longer be centered. In other words, it takes 25 from the original width and then 68 from the original height. You can also change that to cm, inches, and pixels. I don't like changing the attributes for that reason though.
