Grow a pouch and keep it. He'll get over it. $500 for that?I'd fight him before giving it back!

I dont miss the days of living with parents rules. your dad is freaking out over nothing. When I pick up a supra think about it. a 15 year old car give or take and paying like $30 for it and having medium milage now that is something parents would flip out about

what was the reason for buying the car in the first place? Just something to drive around in. And what is his problem with you buying it. I mean you only paid $500 for it. Was there anything wrong with it?

how bout something with reliability? You went from mitsu to VW they are just as bad as each other in terms of being known for reliability lol. I cant say that I blame him on saying that HOWEVER for the price who gives a ****

for the most part yes, but the 2.0's are actually pretty reliable. my buddy had one with like 170k on it or somethin and it was still running strong. original motor, original drivetrain, and dont quote me on this, but i believe even the original clutch. the thing that ended its life is a fukcin drunk driver

cheap or not, he lives with his parents, they basically fund and support his lifestyle i'm sure, they have every right to have known he was getting this car, and they should have been consulted... i'd be pissed too if you did that to me and i was ur dad, i'd make you give it back... it's not like you brought home a $100 bike or something and said it was cheap, but a whole car? thats crazy
