I had a race tranny put in and upgraded to the HP66 turbo. She put down 624whp and 512 wtq. When I got it home, I blew a head gasket. Brought it back to TTrix and come to fine out my Meth kit was spraying as soon as the key was turned on, so it loaded the pistons with meth, lifting the head. So to be sure everything was ok, I had the engine torn down and had Darton sleeves put in. It is all back together but I'm waiting for a back ordered aquamist meth kit. Then break in and back on the dyno.

SON OF A BITCH, he's right! And should we make it away with the money, there's no way I can outrun him, 1.5 w/ 9psi < EMonz's evo, even when it was stock. I think I'm going to go cry now.

FOG, since the meth kit was the culprit of the head gasket i.e. rebuild of the motor, is the meth kit Company going to cover the cost or is that out of your pocket?

No help from the manufacturer. TTrix said that they contacted them and since its like 2 years old they said they cannot do anything to help us out.So it is all out of pocket. That is why I am pulling that kit out and going with the aquamist kit. As far as $$$$$. I got like $60,000 into this car plus the price of the car. I own my own business in plumbing, heating and fuel oil sales. It is a third generation family business that my grandfather started in 1935. I work a second job as a paid on call firefighter in charge of a heavy rescue company ( jaws of life stuff) I have been doing that for 32 years. My wife lets me keep that pay for my toys. She is a registered nurse and works in the ER of a big city hospital. She also does alot of per diem ( extra shifts) at the local hospital. So she works 2 jobs too. MY adivce, dont rob a bank, just work your butt off !!!!!!!
BTW, the turbo EMonz has was my old one. My car ran great with that thing....I should have kept it LOLOLOL
Hopefully, once I get my car back, I'll be happy with the power and it will be reliabale once again.

Ok so an update. I was really sick last week so I didnt do anywork on the car , butfinally feeling better and yesterday went down and worked on it all day with keith. Problem is the tranny literally took us all day to pull out because of a few road blocks after another but the tranny is out non the less the exedy twin is mounted and the stock clutch is in peices and actually shows there was quite a bit of life left on it. there were some bad hot spots but the clutch was still healthy which suprised me because average Evo owners only get 25k on the stock clutch and I am nearly double that.
