i wanted to be a mod once..then i said f that...

 

It isnot easy to become a mod. It is all up to us as a groupe usually with the exection of the three that just got it. theEngineer I have no clue I think it was all patrick who asked him and the other two were just me asking patrick for them

 

so what's the requirements to become a mod? Must not be much if yer one LOL...so just playin'!

 

there really isnt reguirements. For my case it was because i was helping with the site to do stuff. First was taking over the ROTM section. But for other people usually its whenever we feel we need a new mod, well decide who we think will best help the site and stay around. Because as you know alot of mods will just come and go. So we dont want someone thats just gonna leave.

 

so in other words

POST ****** = BEST MODS!

I became a mod for a few reasons I think. Befoer I was a MOD the off topic section I NEVER even looked in all my posts were in the eclipse and at the time lancer section. Then I PMed patrick about making the EVO section seperate from the lancer section and I got that then I asked if we could get a mirage section then one of our former mods and I had the line up re aranged so the TECH HELP sections were moved up top they used to be all the way down the bottom and no one posted in them. and then patrick noticed that I controlled the EVO section and had alot of input in the eclipse section back then (I owned a 3G Spyder when I joind here) So patrick asked me if id be willing to help out.


To become and admin well that was sang and I cordinating efforts to clean up this place cause a year or so ago this site was a mess and some people were whoring posts everywhere and alot of people arguing and name calling ect ect so we PMed patrick with a list of names and reasons why we wanted a little help cause the other MODs of the site dont come around much so patrick looked into what we were asking and offered to make us assit admins to him and making everyone we asked for MODS

sadly all of those MODs we asked for have since left or been stripped of there powers for reasons that will be left alone lol so that is why we got a few more now that were just added

and as you can see it has nothing to do with total post count because I only had 600 when I became a MOD and only 1000 when I became and admin. Silver coupe has been here like 3 weeks and he is a mod now

 

maybe you didnt notice I have been here a while lol *Joined: 5/13/2005* and I have become a ***** but that is fine with me cause I add filling to my posts not just "+1" or "I agree"
