Prostreet finally to the track
Just an update for the few that like muscle cars as well as Mitsubishis, I made it to the track after 7 years and having really bad traction issues I'm only running 11.2's at 126mph, should be mid 10's if I can get it to hook. Gearing and tires to come later, maybe next year. I was going to make it a street car so as of now it only has 3.9 gears instead of 4.56's
But, my buddy in his Chevy Luv won a Wally and took first in Pro with dial ins around 9.49's and beat 117 other racers.
Take a look at the bottom left corner of the picture you can see the truck. This was on his 3rd to last run before he ran a too fast 9.45 on the 2nd to last run but the other guy red lit. He moved the time down to a 9.49, chased the guy down that was running a 10.49 and stood on the brakes and nosed him by a couple feet for the win. He cut quite a few lights in the .oox range, man was he on.

Are all the drag racers gone? Ok, I'll make it Mitsubishi related, my daughter's car, she reposessed the 97 GTS from a guy who stopped paying, I'm planning on full frame, rear drive and tubbing and make it a drag car with a small block, full roller Chevy if the things stays at my house too long. That would be bad to the bone. It has one year and then I'll gut it and make it truly fast.

10.7s at nearly 128mph and still not hooking. Raced a 10.3 Buick and I finished going faster mph but a slower time because of the start. Got a low 10 in her if I can get it to hook. Pedaled the first 60' to a lousy 1.6 time to try and keep it from spinning. 18.5" wide tires are still no good if they are old and hard.

please don't small block the eclipse leave it with some dignity, if anything go to you-tube and look up a fellow named Brent Rau, its rear wheel drive and has the Mitsubishi 4G63, needless to say its a beast of a 4 cylinder.

Good news, my dad was given an old rust bucket of a '64 Mustang and he has given it to me. If it is as bad as shape as it looks it will be prostreeted with a Chevy big block, if it will fit, and tranny with a Ford 9" for the rear, and it will go racing. I'll put my wife in it with maybe only around 550hp so it will be streetable, unlike my '72 Camaro. If it ever stops raining around here, pictures to follow.

I will take my keyboard and go away quietly. There use to be racers on the board. Not so much now I take it. Yellowbullet.com if anyone is interested in racing but toughen up, they do not play nice over there. The '97 GT-S is long gone and was fine while it was around but times change. See ya.
