ORIGINAL: dsm1990gsx

I had a 92 non turbo (4g63) dsm and it was a very reliable car, I went threw a couple of clutches and tranies but that was my fault lol. It made it to 198k before the timing belt jumped.

Nick, swap in the 4g63 engine its more reliable then the 1.8.
how hard of a swap is it? and how much will it run? i really like these cars, the body style, but im going to college soon i need a very reliable car..

my problems were things like gaskets, exhaust leaks, water pump, yea, basicly normal stuff for an old engine.. im just saying i need something reliable

I've had my '99 GS-T for 4 1/2 years now and have not had a problem whatsoever yet.

No doubt.

It doesnt matter what kind of car you have.. If you dont take care of it and beat on it, there gonna break down. Doesnt matter if its a DSM, BMW, chevy, ford..
