ou dont buy a 'drift kit' for em it take a lot of tuning better motors servos and everything but cars like they are running prices vary greatly...check here these guys seem to have some of the most reasonable prices around and those are the nitro entry lvl cars.. heres the link to electric cars RTR (ready to run) electric cars those two should get you started.. RC racing is really a lot of fun.. but as you can see from the links can get expencive

I've probably put about 5 or 6 hundred into my car so far (Mostly for repair parts cuz I keep breakin shyt LOL) mines down right now though. The 1 way bearing shat itself so I can't start it anymore (I have a gas powered one not electric... electriciy's for pansies MORE POWER BABY!!). I have 2 sets of rims one with street tires the other with regular buggy tires. I used to have a Traxxas T Max but someone stole the rear half of it I still have the controller for it though

well he'll want to start off with electric they are the easierst thing to tune or do n e thing to and they generally $100+ less than nitro and yea my duratrax and my dads t-max are both nitro my duratrax destroyes the t-max i can drive right over him i love my mt.. i'm thinkin about getting a new motor for it....
