Default Scuffed my front clip

What's up everyone?! I haven't been on the forum in a while so I thought I'd drop in. I don't have my own computer at work anymore and had to bring it home because we moved to our new dealershipamd not allowed to have our own computers at our desks anynore so I'm not on as much as I used to be. Not much exciting has been going on with me and my '99 GS-T. It just sits in my garage during the****ty wintermonths here in northwestern Pennsylvania. I went out the other day to fire it up and let it run a bit. The battery was dead so I pulled my Jeep up to it to jump it. But the driveway leading up to the front of the garage was really icy and when I put the brakes on in the Jeep it just slid until the Eclipse stopped it and I scuffed my front clip. I just looked at it and shook my head in disgust and dumbassness. I was kinda pissed too because I just got my body kit painted and installed just this past summer. It cost me like $675 to have the front clip, which is urethane, painted and installed. That amount that I paid also included having new oil lines put in. I paid cash of course and I am HOPING that it can be buffed out but the more I look at it the more I think it's gonna have to be repainted which means shelling out some more cash to fix it. GRRRRRR! But on the other hand I think I am positive that I'm going to take the graphics offof it too. But hey, the car fired right up and ran great LOL.

that sucks. Just for future reference, if you dont like scraping the **** out of the bottom of your bumper, do not get your car towed by a flat bed. Flat bed tow trucks are satan to a lowered car. Ask for the tow truck that has a dolly for the rear end, so your car doesnt have to go up a steep incline, and back down[X(]

When I had to have my towed the guy that came was a friend of my buddies that worked there.. He goes "Im gonna try my hardest not to scrape anything" Ended up just barely touching the front bumper.. But as the angle of it scrapped my muffler on the blacktop... I had to look the other way that day..

It depends on the tow company. Cuz when you have a car that is lowered your supposed to use boards at the ramp, and have the ramp at the lowest angle possible
