For the bl vs sp, ram operated guns are much better then spool valvs. Better efficency and a faster cycle rate. The ion is way different then the fst shocker. The shocker has a much better vision system, better regs, compleatly different noid, different board, different bolt style, and the shocker has a qev built into the noid. I have shot, and taken apart both guns and the shocker is so much better quality wise, even out of the box much more care is taken to the shocker in its packaging.
For the 2.9 was, its an alright board. It comes stock in the 2k4 guns. MY beef with it is that the debounce cant be tuned that good. The lowest it goes is 2.2 and goes up by .2 untill 10.00 then it goes up in 5.0's untill 50. Besides that its cool. That gun is basically the same thing as what I have, except for a few items. The lpr is actually a good one, I personally have an evil one but that is the factory 2k5 style which is alright. If you do end up getting that gun I would recomend a critical trigger, a drop/on-off, and a 0-300 gauge for the hp reg so you can set your fps. If you do end up getting it, hit up pbreview.com/forum/ and read some boblong stickys before you even gas it up, high end markers need special care and prep before using.
