Its the 11th month of the year. which generally means in the Northeast that snow and salt are coming. I had the supra all summer starting the end of april. I look at it now like WTF I didnt even drive ever!!! I put just a tad under 2000miles on the car is 6 months and now it is going to get put away for 4-5 months. I have had the car sitting in my drivway the last like 3-4 days in a row just so I can drive it here and there a few more times.

Of course just like Every car I owned it knows. I mean the car drives AWSOME the last few days and feels like its gained like 30WHP (it may have I fixed a HUGE mess of boost leaks and the temps are very cold) The car pulls like a **** even with only an intake and full exhaust and 16psi. So I know the car has stepped up just because it knows im putting it away. Kinda like how the Evo drove awsome for the last week I owned it knowing I was selling it lol. I know im crazy right, but John's cars do the same thing hahaha.

Just recently I started researching BPU supras to see what people run with them. Well a guy two days ago just ran a 12.4 @110MPH with full 3inch exhaust at 18psi and HKS hardpipes and intake he was running on drag radials and pump gas. He said he was pulling alot of timing from 18PSI on pump and stock twins and with 110-116 race fuel the car would trap another 7-10MPH faster. So wait a minute ballpark of 120MPH traps? My Evo after getting tuned properly was trapping only 119 running 20PSI and a big turbo. He only had 2 PSI,tires and IC pipes over what I have plus I have 4inch exhaust which is proven to make more power. Eitherway so now I have the itch to go to the track of course it will take 4-5months DAMN IT. I just want to drive it more now


2,000 miles a year? that is it. come next april it will be the same only having 88k on it since I cant drive it untill the weather and roads permit

 

i think the winter is the best part about the northeast, because it makes having a summer that much more enjoyable...although i didnt enjoy it at all this year [&o]

 

Sounds like you guys should move down south so you can enjoy driving you cars all year round.

 

I did the south thing. I lived in Tampa for 2 years. I may move back in a few years or whenever I can finally afford a house and stuff. The thing is I still wont drive my car that much. Id maybe just drive it a little more.Although the winter is the best part because I dont drive it for so long its like you almost forget you actually own it and then come summer its like getting a new car all over again, that feeling I do love. The problem is I hate the wait. Its like when you were like 5years old waiting for christmas lol

 

if you guys move down south, stop over here in pa and pick me up. i could use a change of scenery

i just put my altima in the shop for a 4 month overhaul, im gonna miss it, im driving a 4cyl wrangler now. now i know the altima isnt fast, but its a lambo compared to a 4 cyl brick. i miss the quickness
