actually the hardest part were cutting out those rings... i didnt get thick enough particle board, so i had to cut out 4 of and double em up. and i had to use a compass to get the circle and freehand the cut with a jig saw.. oh yea it was fun haha... this whole thing was a "just try it and see if it works" sorta deal seeing as how i've never done this before... but it came together really well

oh smooth move ex-lax... yea we have a router... but like i said, i dont remember exactly why we didnt use it... i made the rings and the pillars a long time ago, just made the frame tonight, same with the felt
oh now i remember why we didnt use it! we have a router with a "guide" that you can just drill a hole, stick the pin and the end of the guide into, and just spin the router around in a circle around the hole for a perfect circle... but these rings are for 12" subs, and the guide wasn't long enough, it would have made the whole way to small... so me just made our own little compass and traced a circle... oh well, still worked find, just a bit more of a pain
