So I got pulled over for almost catching air through an intersection a few minutes ago racing through a yellow light with a friend behind me. (about 12:35 AM). The cop asked for my license and registration (which I only had my license) and asked me why I was in a hurry (doing between prolly 45-50 in a 30mph). I told him that I had just recently bought the car and I couldn't afford to fix the turbo lag and sometimes my car just boosts randomly and I can't control it. NO TICKET!
also, my friend decided to turn his lights off and floor it since he went through the red light after me and the cop had to pick one of us... pray for him huh.. haha
Ever heard an excuse so awesome before?
Only a dsm owner has got quick wits like that.

they know you full of it almost everytime. What do you think happens on every traffic stop for speeding? The driver makes up off the wall excuses and pleas there case. He didnt write you up because he was lazy not because you tricked him. Because otherwise he would have been even more of a dick because you are now driving a unsafe car if he wanted to belive you.
