undecided on what to get
Okay everyone im on the verge of gettin another car besides a honda. Dont get me wrong im not a civic fan im more for an accord. I love hondas dont get me wrong but the scene is dead and ontop of that im looking into something that was bron a ready out of the box streetracing car. Im 25 have no bills and whatnot and i was leanin towards more on the lancer but its like everyone has one.
But ive been in love with the dodge srt4 ever since it came out. Im now making the funds 1,600 every 2 weeks after taxes 1,200 which one should i get. My insurance is gonna be 405 a month in the city . I have no kids no real responsibilities monthly payments on a 2003 lancer evolution shouldnt be that much for a 25,000 loan if i put say 3-7 g's down with the amount of money i make. Or i can headhunt for an srt4 the main reason why i like them is because they are so different and they are the underdog. And the car i used to drive was the underdog a 92 h22 swapped 4-doorhonda accord. So your opinions on here would be most helpful.

i really dont see an srt-4 as being the car that is "so different". I see those things on a daily basis. They are everywhere. And yes they are kinda quick out of the box, but they usually sound like crap, and in the end they are still a neon and FWD. Iv heard from so many people that have either had an srt-4 or have one, that wish they could have gotten an evo. And there are alot of evo owners that used to have an srt-4 and are glad they switched. Personally, if you got the money, then get the EVO. You will be alotmore satisfied with the car than an SRT-4. And what year would you be looking at. Because if you wanted you could get an evo 8 for around 20k with low miles if you look around enough

definetly alot lower. Emonz on here got his 2003 evo around 2 years ago with the same type of mileage for 22k. Just try and play the dealerships a bit with the prices. They always go down

if you are looking for something fast, good potential and not so common.... i'd recomend a Mazda Speed 3. you can get them for i think 23 off the showroom w/ a 4cyl turbocharged intercooled 240hp with a fast growing aftermarket. i'm not sure on the actual numbers the 240bhp may be off but it's close. i know the Speed6 comes with 285hp but i think it was tuned up a lil bit for the extra weight of the 6. well there's my 2 cents.

if i was goin for an srt4 i would go with a 04 or o5 with some stage mopar upgrades. If i was to get a evo with say 38,000 miles a 03 does 25,995 sound reasonable or should it be lower?
