Im not sure about subs yet deff a deck and speakers. When I test drove an 03 evo the stereo sounded horrible, that's why replace the speakers. And my eclipse never had any kind of radio in it, and I didn't mind it for city driving, but ended up using my ipod for the highway cuz it was so boring.

 

The stock radio sounds awful if you dont dial the bass and treb in. they almost always are presett to zero or -3 which sound reall bad. But up the bas up to 4-5 and the treb 3-4 and they rock pretty good IMO i mean not to bad for a track type car

Yeah ill try that, sux I found a decent 04 evo white, I forget the mileage but not too high and it was 15 grand, wrote how he changed the engine oil and all, when I asked about tranny and t-case fluids.he said in the 10k miles he's had it he never changed either. And who knows when the previous owner did it. Now that I think of it the car has either 33 or 43k miles on it

Thats not half bad of a deal. Since your car is not to insane with mods either. Funny thing is I just sold mine for just under $25k lol. I put alot of $$$$$ into that motor though. I didnt do to bad though. I bought it 3 years ago with 12k miles bone stock for $22k. It now has tons of mods 44k miles on the clock and 3 years in my hands and I sold it for $2500 more than I paid. To think I only owed like $13k on it too so I banked quite a bit

and what you guys think of the evo in the description above. the only turn off was the fluids not being changed. is this really as essential as it seems to be to me?

 

Diff fluids are important but that is cheap too.

 

yeah i just wasn't sure if cuz he didn't change it there's a slightly bigger chance that it'll crap out sooner on me or something like that. he said that the previous owner changed the tranny, brake,coolant and engine oil, but didn't say anything about t-case oil. so you think it's a good deal oh yeah and it has 32k miles on it and it's an 03 ww
