i still think its too much work to do on a 420a eclipse. just save your self the trouble and money and buy yourself a GST/X. yeah its cool to see that somebody was that stupid to spend atleast 4k on a swap that in the end you could of gotten a gst, upgrade the turbo and still have the same HP #'s with less money. but hey, people are going to do what they want with their money

 

It makes me want to buy a 420a Avenger just so I could swap in the E8/E9 motor. Hell, the AWD part isn't even that difficult to figure out. I bet you could use a 4 bolt GSX rear with a machined driveshaft (first shaft) or a machined EVO driveshaft (first shaft also). True, it's a lot of money, but motor swap does not = cheap? Motor swaps are supposed to be unique to begin with. Motor swaps aren't for cookie cutter preferred folks.
With that said, there are some wasted swaps out there...V8 EVO....nonetheless...unique. I may not think that to be a great idea, because I feel it to be a wasted ability of traction, but someone else will like it (RWD guys) regardless.

The point of the swap was to have an EVO motor in a 2DR (an N/T at that). Look at these hatchback Mirages or Colts with a 4g63 FWD drivetrain swapped in...who would have known it would blow past anyone?

Anyway, I'm not trying to convince anyone to like this swap, just letting you know that I do, lol.
