I think that's pretty exciting for 420a people. Yeah they COULD buy a gst or a gsx.. but motor swaps don't always cost that much. I had a friend just do a motor swap in his 3000gt and it was only around 2. You can buy a 420 for much cheaper than a gst or x and then the swap wouldn't have to cost so much.. depending what you pay for the car it could work out cheaper.. ya never know!

They were sold in MANY different countries.

Originally, Mitsubishi intended the 2g to be strictly for the US market, but it did so well that they took it elsewhere.

In Europe they made a n/a 2g that actually had the 4G63 in it. No 420a for Europe.

Have you never heard of the 'amber tails' from Europe? They are hot shizzle, everyone wants them, and they want ours.

As well as Europse, it was also sold in Japan. Now I hear you asking, Japan has RHD cars, not LHD. Well you would be correct, but Mitsubishi decided not to make a RHD Eclipse and just stick with the LHD.
