b. is still in business in the form that they are
and someone on a mitsubishi site making head gasket comments? come on now...dodge's old transmissions are bulletproof. the trans in the mid to late 90s trucks had problems, but we have a 94 ram with a stock original transmission, which is driven HARD, and with proper maint., the transmission is still doing very well at 125,000 miles.

With the exception of Patrick, you're all being children about this.
Dodge has definitley stepped up in the last 10 years in terms of quality.
Sure, Ford has a diesel V8, but Dodge's inline 6 tows just as fine and puts out a great amount of power.
The Ram pickups are great trucks in terms of durability and reliability.
The SRT series of vehicles are without a doubt some of the best performing vehicles on the road that really don't break your bank... unless you get an srt Viper... lol.
The SRT-4 Neon is a good looking, fast 4 banger. Its a young guys car, not a good "first car". A Neon sxt is a good first Dodge. lol.
Grow up people and stop saying "Dodge sucks." sp quickly.
After you've been in automotive a while, you'll know first hand that all vehicles suck, some just less than other. All cars WILL break, its just a matter of time and the way the driver treats it.
And in the terms of SRT - EVO, its a no contest and you all know this.
Its a financial battle in the end. You get a fast fwd car for almost half the price of the awd Evo.
Now, if SRT-4's came AWD, there would be a contest. You gotta think with your budget in mind. You cant have Ferrari taste with Chevy budget, it just don't work.

+1^ dodge ownes ford in everyway...and chevy makes to many pointless cars....dodge has a wonderful lignup.fwd sucks eh??? yea thats why there is fwd hondas in the 6's...the srt-4 is a good car for a budget tuner and they are already in the 9's.

well also insurance for geting my license at 18 no other record an evo probly would be alot more then a srt 4 and i have yet to see a evo for less then 30k=( unless it on ebay but i rly dont have 23k cash lol
