Ya, me either. making the tail lights go straight across the whole back end, bleh. Even before buying an eclipse or even having the slightest idea of ever owning one, i always told myself that I'll never have tail lights all the way across.

 

LOL And here you are with a car that originally had taillights across..

i have to agree with emonz on this one. Stay with all red. I personally don't like any clear or euro tails. Especially with the white, i think with the red tails it really makes the white look cleaner. And i was also going to say, can we make a vote on the center white peice too, LOL

 

If i wanted everyone to vote on the center piece I would have added that to the poll. lol

Personally, I think the clear is cleaner, but to each their own i guess. as for the center piece, I really like the look of it except for the Mitsu Symbol I Saw a eclipse the other day with the same center piece w/o the Mitsu symbol and I really liked it.

Sorry, I have to disagree though. All red across the back nah. I did, however, like the look with the red tail lights and the white center piece, but I'll have to say clear are my favourite.

I'm glad I was able to see whate everyone thought of it, and it turned out (while viewing the poll) that it was a tie. 4 for red 4 for clear.

Now i must go out and find red blubs, My friend was following me home the other night and he told me my tail lights looked almost white with a pinkish to them. which = illegal. Out to kragen or pep boys!

 

Yes def. remove the mitsu symbol I said that in my first post on this topic but the clear lenses I think will always show pink I have never seen them anything other even alot of euro style TYCs show slightly pink but not anywhere near as bad.

Personally I think clear is for honda boys no offense I see them as ricer mods. but like you said to each his own and if you like it stick with it. It is no different from my car haveing ugly euro tails on it even though they are stock and I hate it I just dont have $400+ to buy JDM tails ya know lol

 

Ya, Most definentally. (and i did notice that in your first post) Personally, though, I don't think i'd ever go out and spend money on either the red nor the clear. Red are stock and Clear were given to me, so it was fun to put them on. Little pinkish isn't bad, but when they're almost the same colour as the headlights then we start having a problem. LOL. I'm not too big on the Altezza style that has the clear with red circles

There's a very good chance that my ADD will kick in and I'll be swapping tail lights a lot. haha.
Now i've got to find a way to get that symbol off, I think it's either a sticker or just painted on. I'll have to go out and look closer.

As for the Honda Boys. A:I used to be a Honda boy. my little ol' Del Slow. not anymore woot and B:I don't think clear is for the Honda Boys, Fart Cans, annoying lawnmoer exhausts, and altezzas for for Honda boys. (fear i'll get some slack for this, uh oh)lol

 

Like i said I've seen taillights that have NO lense in that cover sense (At least I saw them for my Sentra) but they have like the individual spots for each bulb covered.... Damn wish I could explain it.. It's a more textured look... Kinda like the taillights of the new SSX (Chevy ICK) they kinda pop out like that but are also set in like the clears you have... Imagine the clear ones without the clear piece. Now put red (or amber depending which bulb) covers over each bulb. That's basically the idea... ANyone actually understand me? lol

 

Have you thought about getting red LED bulbs (clear when off) - that should get rid of the pink.
