All right I'm looking into guages for my Conquest. Mostly cuz I don't trust the boost gauge so I'm looking at various brands. I have found a st I kinda like but have NO idea of their worth. I'm looking to find out if any of you have heard of Glow Shift and if their gauges are worth it or not? You can find them on e-bay. Let me know What you guys think. I just kinda like the whole blackout when car is off feature.

I personally would go with autometer phantom series, their reliable and well known. Also when you need to get them recalabrated you have a reliable source to go to. BTW what are you looking for I know a place with a little discount.

That's fine and dandy but on the other hand I don't have much $ to work with and calibration isn't a problem. I was trained in calibration and testing for guages in the navy.

These Glow Shift gauges are about on the same level with Autometer they are gauges on a budget. Personally, I would not trust thousands of dollars I have put into my engine bay to be monitored by $20 gauges. The middle ground that I go is Greddy and nothing less.

I've never heard anything bad about autometer.... And granted they aren't top of the line but I also have to stay in a budget. I need something better than stock and I need something to give me a more accurate boost reading. I don't have the thousands invested under the hood yet. but I think the stock boost gauge is off and I would like a second opinion via another guage. I like the blackout feature of the gauge but I can live without it. like I said I'm looking for something right now that's aesthetically pleasing as well as fuctional, and in a decent price range. If you guys got better ideas feel free to give me some links or something.

...Ebay?

Cheap Guages there. Reliable? I don't know. I'm in the same boat. I don't know much about them. All i do know is that name brands are way too expensive and Ebay is cheap.

Well I'm trusting some input I've gotten on them and I'll guinea pig myself and let you know what I think. I'll get pics and let you know how well they operate as well as if they're worth the $.
