ORIGINAL: slow420a

Its a dohc 4 cyl... maybe a nissan motor, dont look like a dsm motor but I could be wrong.

Also on 2g nt.com some kid just got a rx7 with a ls1 in it, very clean worth the look.

http://forums.2g nt.com/dcboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=60&topic_id=4112&m ode=full

remove the space between the 2g and nt for the link to work.
Ok we are all just beating it around the bush now...No its not a Nissan motor and no its not a 4cyl. To swap the stock motor for a 4 cyl nissan motor is a waiste I think but ya slow the LS1 swap is rather common for an unusual car to swap in as is the Motor you see above it has been done a few times I though that just by looking at it quick everyone would know what it is.

BTW the motor is missing the Center peice of the valve cover that says what it is that has been taken off prob because it isnt in its origanal car anymore

Well damn... All this and THAT was all you were looking for?!?! (The LT1 thing came from the fact that I couldn't tell what the HEX the 2 pipes were... They both look like intakes to me...)

They just don't look like it. But then again like I said I was diggin for ANYTHING that could be wrong. Charge pipes or not they aren't connected to the intake and are in about the right position to be an intake themselves. If I had a pic of the other side of the engine I'd probably see that they are attached to a turbo or something but from that shot you really can't tell.

if that engine is, what i THINK it is, NOTHING is "Wrong" with it...
