Yup, a poorly setup suspension on an AWD will cause poor launches. The more grip, the less dip = good launch. You literally want power transferred to the wheels and not soaked up by the suspension components like bushings soft springs and shocks, even bad camber, caster, and toe will affect a straight line launch. Just food for thought.
