Damn, that sucks. That looks like a north east pothole... used to get the ones that looked like they could swallow your car from the "frost heaves' settling back down in the spring. Florida roads are just as bad as everywhere else I see.

That rim wont make small ornimant it is 17x8 it is a little wide.
