I have noticed that there are more and more "sport sedans" coming out every year. IMO I like coupes. If there was a EVO coupe I would make sure I got one lol. The reason for this post is I keep seeing ads for that new Dodge Avenger and if it was a coupe I think it would be nice. Even the fast neon onlyt came in a sedan can anybody answer why they (as in car makers) are all making these" sports sedans" instead of some real sports cars?

 

I have no idea. Trying to be more family oriented with some of thier sports lineup

 

i like the fact that you can have a sports car / race car / family car all in one... i'm not hatin lol but i do love my coupes to!

 

Partly that... and keep in mind, the majority of the people designing these cars have been with the companys for years... when they came in and were young, they designed what they wanted to see... small, compact sport coupes... now they design what is more useful to them, which, sadly, at this point is 4 door vehicles... seeing as most of them are in their late 30s to early 40s and now have children and such.

 

Because all of those people that had fast cars when they were younger and had to get rid of them when the kid and wife came along, they put 4 doors on it so that guy can be a kid again! (While still looking out for the family and getting a 4 door car)
