Working on a deal potencially
i think i've seen some in magazines before, i mean it's just a small upgrade but you don't have to really wait for the turbo to kick in, cause the smaller kicks in first and the bigger just takes over, not nearly as much as a single but the power curve is less jumpy i guess is the way to say it.
you guys have no clue hahaha, ill post pics of a car that has 'upgraded twins' they are not what you think. they run autos into the 9s and mid to low 10s on a 6spd. so yes they make power like one huge one will , because it uses two decent sized HKS GT series turbos so the reason its not praticle is 1 these kits are more for the bling for shows. 2 the cost of double piping and two turbos (were talking like 8000 dollars for a TT kit) and 3 maintanence and working on them is a pain with a clutter of two big turbos
I would totally rock the HKS twins but for the money its not worth the headache to get them when your biggest advantage over a moderate sized big single is that under the hood looks sick

Based on all the replies in here about what 'upgraded twins' are I can say that you guys really dont know what that means. Were not talking twins like a VR4. yea a vr4 upgrades by going with 16G turbos that considered upgraded twins. the 300zx is the same way.
The supra uses to turbo that a pretty damn big and make ~800HP sometime a little more so the power is the same as having a pretty decent single. of course there are singles out there that are much more powerfull but realisticly most supra guys dont surpass 8-900HP on a street driven car , hell most dont even go that high. So the HKS twins are still within reason for what alot of guys are looking for.

well lets not get carried away. I need to buy the car first. I will add some bolt ons. it will be a long time before I want alot of power as I want to clean the car up first
