well good news. I just got off the phone with the bank and I am apporved for the amount I needed ($13k) so all I need to do is iron out a few things with them and sign some things and the car is pretty much MINE. all for $100 less per month than the Evo was costing me too

 

granted you'll be paying for it for a lot longer than you were gonna pay for the evo lol

 

That aint true. I had a 5 year on the Evo. ill have a 5 year on the poopra. Of course The Evo would be paid off sooner in term length but I was double paying my Evo so now add that to the supra payment. I will be paying it off rather easily

 

OHHH YEAAA congrats. man that is so awesome. i love supras and have always dreamed of owning one. i am very jealous. cant wait to see some mods. man i bet thats an awesome feeling. any plans for it right away besides routine maintence?

its not easy on a 15 year old car ill tell you that much. But my credit has to be pretty decent since I had the Evo for 3 years and paid early every month plus any ther bills ect ect I pay

 

ya when the bank looks at the older car they dont really like to loan money into those but congrats once againemonz you have alot of envious peeps.

 

90% of banks will only lend to a car as old as 10 years and only out to 12 years. so in otherwords if you get a car 1998model year you can only hold a 2 year lein on it. But f course there are loop holes to avoid that. Most commonly was Capitol one who didnt care of age BUT they just changed their rules a month ago so they will no longer loan to a car older than 2001.

Luckily I found the one bank I know of right now doing this

 

yeah when i got my gsx my bank wouldn't go older than 7
