this comment cracks me up. I hate it when people use the gas milage thing. You here people say it to v8 guys all the time, but maybe most of us dont know that GM cars like the bird, maro, and vette in 6 spd get amazing gas milage like 27mpg on the highway. My Evo is lucky if it gets 22MPH on the highway but what can you do

That was my first thought... We have some dsm's that are almost to the 7.9... What is sheps car at currently? 8's?

 

Sheps car has been in the 7s for a while now lol he traps at 190+mph

 

My dads transam only gets about 20-22 mpg on a good day.. Those v6's arent anything special.. So ya they would get good gas milage. But the real muscle cars arent setting any records for gas milage..

Btw, I cant imagine how that car could actually be street legal.. If you drove that down the street, I garentee you could get tickets for Illegal things on it.

 

Dude im talking LS1 motored cars not the 6s. TEs dad has a ws6 which is a LS1 TA and it gets like 26. keiths vette is the same. That 6th gear rides like 80MPH at like 1500RPMs
