Brother was coming home one night and i get a phone call....

I get a ride down there... and this is what i see

Notice there is a crack in the fiberglass panal... that perticular one is bonded to the chassis......... DOH!

My guess is broken CV. I saw a little grease there. I think what happened is the boot got torn.. then all the grease came out... and snap.

Brother took it to lotus.. turns out the 2 bolts holding the control arm both snapped. One of the noob mechanics tried to say my brother hit a curb... and my brother wasnt happy..

 

if he hit a curb youd see it on those rims. if not the tires would at least be scuffed. damn mechanic

 

I was gonna say have the control arm checked, b/c thats the only thing that could cause an inward or outward tilt of the wheel.
If a c/v axle breaks, the wheel should not tilt in like that.
