Agree with ron, im a fan of the 90's cars... specially late 90's, the new ones are exactly like you said, they look more like luxurious car than rally or sport cars... i might be biased though, in LOVE with my 2g

 

I don't like the redesigned WRX either. To me both the front and back look tame or even "grown up", like RC stated. It all looks to be Mazda inspired. It no longer looks aggressive.....good for the EVO X, bad for the new WRX.

well you know there was alot of dilike towards the current wrx when it first came out. people do not like the multipe grills in the front. they desided to change it and in doing so made it even uglier. but that was what the public wanted. they no longer liked the grill, if they ever did at all. idk the new one relly looks like a kia or something. i dont understand how that look is supposed to continue the icon image made by previous wrx's. yeah this one is bigger and more refined than other ones. but damn its ugly.

 

well like i said i don't dislike the disign of either car, i think they are both beautifuly crafted and have nice lines along the body... i just don't like the fact that neither look like the true Rally car they are, they are both somewhat sporty but more luxurious sporty than hardcore sporty. if you are building a car for a certain purpose i think the WHOLE car should be built around that purpose! having a BAD ARS motor in a luxury looking car is the same as having a 420a in an Ferrari Enzo... it just clashes. it hink mitsu and subaru were right on w/ the previous gens of their rally inspired sport cars.

the older cars had more style the new ones either look ugly as **** or justoo much like a giant curve but some however did have some good impovement and actually look good

 

I love the new evo...I love the 4g. and the new wrx is growing on me.

 

that wrx back end looks like a saturn.. Ive liked the front end on the new subaru's... Not the 08 ones though[:'(]

 

well i didn't like the designing of the EVO X just because of the "family car" look but w/ the new thread i just made about the blue one... i've quickly changed my mind lol that thing is B E A UTIFUL
