Is there a way to play regular xbox games on the 360?

 

only some. There is a automatic patch the 360 will DL when you put the games in. on xbox.com there is a list of the games that are backward compatible

 

also you get either a 1 or 3 month subscription for xbox live when you get the higher model 360 with the harddrive

 

I have xbox live but I only hook it up when im gonna play my brother online... So you need to be connected to the internet to do it eh?

the xbox has the capability of play a lot of backwards games (i remember there was some sort of riot cuz you could play a barbie one but not halo XD). But now you can download patches for your xbox software so it can play more games, im not sure right now how many you can play but you might wanna check out on hot to dl that patch

 

get that thing online and play us. we have a small handfull on here who play together

 

I only have maddon 07 right now... What games do you play?

 

Right now we have Gears fo war, Madden 2007, Forza Motorsports (Backward Compatable), Test Drive Unlimited, Then we have some of the arcade games we play like Doom &Worms. I think there are a couple more games but i cant remember them

You do have to be online to download the patch, and i believe it pops up right away saying patch available
