Mighy Max question
Hello everyone,
I am new to the forum and toMitsubishi's in general. I bought a 93 Might Max that has some engine trouble. I pulled the engine and took the block, crank, and connecting rods to a auto machine shop. They advised me that the block was in good shape but the crank and rods were beyond reworking. After calculating how much it will cost to get this engine running I have decidedit is not worth rebuilding.
What I would like to know is will a 2.0 engine out of an earlier Might Max fit this truck? I can find a used 2.0easier and much cheaper.
Any help would be appreciated.

RE: Mighy Max question
Thanks for the reply!
At first I didn't think it would work but than I sarted reading where people were using the 2.4 block to build "stroker" engines with there 2.0 head and it made me think that the tranny would fit both.
Oh well it was worth a try.
Thanks again!

RE: Mighy Max question
the early 2.4 was a wide block the later 2.4 (90-93) expo-summit was a narrow block the diff is the width in the lower bellhousing bolt holes so yes you can use the 2.0-2.4-2.6 if you get the right block the caravans had the narrow block 2.6
