Hey guys i just bought an 86 wide-body and it had been sitting for 10 years so it desperately needs some body work and engine work. the negine turns over but wont start like its not turning fast enough. I am gonna go out and hook up another car to it via cables and see if that helps but if not than from what i have researched on the conquest and starion is that over in japan they were powered by the 4g63t and was curious if i could swap one of those into it if it turns out to be a blown motor. neways any tips would be very helpful thank you.

 

If you can get your hands on one then you can make it work. The 2.0 that you are referring to is still a SOHC engine. To put the 2.0 out of the eclipes is a little more complicated. Am thinking of doing this swap myself.
